"Herb Ritts : LA Style" at The Getty
Graphic, sensual, iconic. Herb Ritts' photographs defined an era when supermodels were super+ and Michael Jackson was The King. He took some of the most memorable photos of Naomi Campbell, Madonna, Richard Gere, and yes, MJ, and his sister Janet. Nudes and nature also captured his eye. "Herb Ritts : LA Style" will open at The Getty on 3 April and run through late August. It will be great to see his vintage prints, magazine covers, and video projects all in one place. He left us too soon.
