Chance Records
I recently discovered that Chance Records once existed. It was a short lived Chicago-based label that put out releases by blues, gospel, and doo-wop musicians with classic names such as Sunnyland Slim, Homesick James, Arthur "Big Boy" Spires, and my personal favorite, John "Schoolboy" Porter. Take a listen to "Soft Shoulder," which features his signature tenor saxophone sound, along with a nice piano interlude.
