Toba Khedoori at David Zwirner
I've been waiting, waiting for Toba Khedoori to show again in NY. She takes her time between exhibitions and stays out of the spotlight; finally this fall the artist will bring a new body of work to a solo show at David Zwirner. A critic once called Khedoori a "visionary minimalist," and this describes the work I first saw at the Whitney Biennial several years ago. Her large pieces, often on paper coated with wax, explore architecture, landscape, nature, and the spaces in between.
